Position Overview:

We are seeking a dynamic and organized individual for the role of Front of House Sales and Service Manager. As the key representative for our clients, you will lead day-to-day operations, drive sales and service, manage inventory, and contribute to the overall success of Nova Academy. Job Duties:

Morning Routine:

  • Prepare and serve coffee throughout the day.
  • Ensure the register starts the day at $200 with adequate change.
  • Review messages for call-ins, cancellations, and appointment requests, and make necessary adjustments and calls.

Front Desk Operations:

  • Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming front-end environment.
  • Review appointments to ensure proper scheduling.
  • Prepare tickets and associated paperwork for the day’s services.
  • Confirm student duties and responsibilities for the day.

Client Interaction and Sales:

  • Act as a host/hostess, ensuring a positive client experience.
  • Monitor and organize retail shelves.
  • Lead and direct students in front-end operations, emphasizing business cards, rebooking, and retailing.
  • Manage magazines and maintain cleanliness throughout the day.
  • Be a product knowledge specialist, contribute to retail sales goals, and meet sales targets.
  • Pre-book clients for their next appointment.

Administrative and Inventory Management:

  • Receive orders, check invoices, and update inventory.
  • Collaborate with the Salon Floor Manager to collect necessary paperwork and create incentive programs.
  • Project share with the Financial Aid and Admissions Leader.
  • Input student schedules and manage drawer closure procedures.

Roles and Responsibilities:

As a Front of House Sales and Service Manager, you will perform the tasks of a Customer Relations/Inventory Manager. You will represent clients, hold students accountable, drive sales and profit, and contribute to the overall success and promotion of Nova Academy. This role reports directly to the Sales Manager.

Job Specifications/Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or Equivalent College Education or Work Experience.
  • Experience in customer service, inventory, promotions, or marketing in cosmetology, retail, or related fields.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Passion for the beauty industry and promoting positive customer experiences.
